65, 5'8", 160lbs. a nice guy with old-fashioned values, creative, caring & comfortable as an old shoe. while I consider myself a teddy bear, I've been called a 'puppy' for most of my life. now, at 58, having tried on most other suits and found them wanting - butch, jock, clone, whatever - I've decided to give in and just go with the one I was handed from the start. . . so. . .here I am, a playful pup with a lab's good nature, a rottie's big heart and a pitbull's devotion, looking to share his world and explore new ones. like most pups, I tend to be exuberant and excited, ready to jump right in, always looking to push my boundaries, but also, like Pavlov's dogs, I've been burned often enough to be a little shy around strangers and am pretty cautious about where I sniff.
(before you run with that whole puppy thing, and get all kinds of crazy ideas about obedience, collars and chains, read 'the Art of Raising a Puppy' by the monks of New Skete. this pup prefers a kind and gentle hand)
come to think of it. . .I wouldn't mind having a relationship like my pups have with each other. . absolutely devoted, completely inseparable, able to fight over the small stuff but always ready to tackle the tough stuff as a team. they eat together, play together & sleep together in complete synchronicity, they share a love so pure it makes you laugh with delight. I'd like that. I'd like that a lot.
