I Would Describe Myself As Someone who is loving and caring and supportive, but others may not always honour that in me. I am not what I appear to be. I appear more independent and outgoing than is the case. An extroverted manner screens a more inward and quiet seeking self. In other words, I am more sensitive and concerned about what others think. And although I may seem tough and self-centred, I am more sensitive to the needs and feelings of others than I let on. I also prefer to remain out of the limelight.
Because I appear so self-sufficient, others have found it difficult to imagine that I might need love and attention. I tend to see them before they get a chance to see me. I react to them before they can objectify or manage to really see my condition.
I tend to worry a lot and feel rather inadequate when not engaged in some project or work. It's almost like my accomplishments are my self-image, rather than my personality.
